In Manchester the system is being installed on a new ornamental folly which will form a landmark building for a new business park. The architect needed an effective, aesthetic system which would not detract from the unique design of the building and Avishock fit the bill perfectly.
Avishock was recently selected for a mews development in London, where 191 metres were installed by a team of abseilers. The roof of the mews had been subject to an infestation of pigeons and the low visibility of Avishock made it the perfect solution for this residential development.
In Liverpool's financial district a prestigious office building was fitted with Avishock during a recent refurbishment. Avishock replaced an older bird control system to deal with rising numbers of gulls and was installed along parapets, dormer tops and a gutter, demonstrating just how flexible the system is.
